The founder of The Age Academy, Aderemi Gbolahan Emmanuel—with the pseudonym AGE—is a Nigerian writer, English Language tutor, and stoic philosopher for whom writing is second nature. To his name are several titles credits including: Nigeria, Her Own Shackle.
AGE studied the English language at Mufutau ‘Lanihun College of Education where he served as an editor-in-chief. He is now studying English at the University of Abuja.
He has written as a ghostwriter for many blogs on the web and as an actual writer for Opera News, Scooper, Mynabo, and a number of other platforms.
By virtue of his budding influence in the disciplines of English and English Literature, he has earned fondly from his colleagues and lecturers the professorial title to his credit; the brainchild of the brand ‘Profage’—the short for professor Aderemi Gbolahan Emmanuel.
In an attempt to contribute his quota to the literary world, AGE has established several literary platforms including the ProfAGE website and social media handles. He is especially interested in promoting literature and philosophy.
As a writer, he contributes to the aforementioned fields by researching laboriously and simplifying gnomic concepts in Philosophy and Literature. AGE strongly says, “Go fish” to the idea of non-human writing—understanding how chaotic that may be to prospective creatives across the globe.
