How to Publish on The Age Academy

Step 1: Topic Proposal

Send your topic to us through submission@theageacademy.com.ng. You cannot go wrong with a topic proposal, as only one of these two things could happen:

  • Topic immediate approval.
  • Topic alteration. Here we could slightly alter the topic to suit readers’ demand. You will receive our feedback on what to go about writing on.

Step 2: Turn in your Article/Paper

At this point, we thoroughly review your entry on the basis of five metrics.

  • We check for plagiarism
  • We check for AI (highly prohibited)
  • We check for grammar
  • We check for the domain. Your content has to be within the domains of English, Literature, and Philosophy.
  • We check for the intent of your submission (to be sure you have solved the problem your topic says it is addressing)

Step 3: Our Feedback

If your submission meets our minimum requirements, you would be published without a hitch. If it does not, you would be contacted with hints on what to work around for future entries. Note that an already rejected piece could be re-entered if given the right touch(es).

We pay weekly: traditionally, every Friday. Writers are hereby advised to enter their details in the Submission‘s “Bank Account Details” provider at least once during the week.

Why Should I Publish With The Age Academy?

First, our platform gives you the room to make your portfolio tenable while also earning the little we currently pay for your writing. We make this possible by referencing your full name at the end of every piece we accept from you.

You are also eligible to have a page for your name and work with us after your fifteenth publication. This page ensures that your biography stands a chance to surface on search engines when queried. It also sees to it that all your jobs are compiled on one page.

Second, every author that has a published page with us stands the chance of getting recommended for our affiliates.

Error Messages After Submission, What Should I Do?

Servers are not always up. We hereby admit that downtimes may occur occasionally. In the case of a downtime, we advise that (1) you do not try to submit your work more than twice. (2) you await our feedback which generally takes between two to twelve hours. (3) you could resubmit if you do not hear from us, or log a complaint: help@theageacademy.com.ng
